Resident Evil Village Food Guide – Where To Find All Ingredients

Resident Evil Village’s traveling merchant, the Duke, will sell you a whole lot of useful stuff over the course of the game. One service you might not know he offers, though, is his culinary expertise. If you find the ingredients, the Duke will cook various meals and share them with you. These meals are extremely useful–they boost protagonist Ethan Winters’ overall stats, giving him more health, faster movement speed, and a stronger defensive guard.

The ingredients the Duke needs for these meals are all various kinds of meat, which you can find around the village and surrounding area. Whenever you see animals such as fish, chickens, pigs, or goats, you should, uh, kill them. They’ll drop different kinds of meat you can then deliver to the Duke for each kind of meal. But there are several special, one-of-a-kind animals you’ll need to find in the village to make the very

Hardcore Difficulty Is Resident Evil Village’s Sweet Spot

As someone who plays too many Resident Evil games and knows all the series’ tricks, you can imagine how my experience as a fan makes me somewhat overly ready for its myriad challenges. While I adore Resident Evil Village, one of the few issues I had with the game was that I thought it was a bit too easy on Standard difficulty. For me, the ideal Resident Evil experience is one where you’re constantly riding the line of barely having enough ammo and health to survive. On Village’s higher difficulty, Hardcore, you have to play smart in order to maintain enough breathing room to survive, and just a few bad mistakes will dwindle your resources and put you in danger. This is the secret sauce of Resident Evil’s survival horror, and my favorite games in the franchise often naturally nail that dynamic without the need to adjust their difficulty beyond

Devolver Digital Teases its E3 Plans, Says Nothing Else

Devolver Digital has announced that it has teased its E3 plans. The company simply just tweeted, “E3 plans have been made”, and left it at that. No other specific details about what kind of games or announcements have been mentioned. This tweet falls in line with Devolver Digital’s sarcastic tone and style, but hopefully, we’ll have more news about the company’s plans for the showcase as the date gets nearer.

When E3 was canceled last year, Devolver Digital, among several other companies, took it upon themselves to create their own digital showcases. The publisher called its own show the Devolver Direct. Either another Devolver Direct show could happen but with E3’s branding this time around, or Devolver Digital could simply integrate its own announcements with whatever E3 has planned.

Some of the Devolver Digital titles we’re aware of

Apex Legends Season 9 Launch Has A Rocky Start, Dev Promises Fixes Coming Soon

Apex Legends Season 9 launched to an enthusiastic response from players–but developer Respawn’s servers weren’t prepared for just how enthusiastic they would be. In its latest tweet, Respawn stated that unlocked characters and marketplace services should be returned to normal soon. In addition, some players have increasingly had success joining matches, but the problems seem to persist for others.

It’s always a shame when server issues pester a game during a launch window like this, but scaling server infrastructure is always extremely hard and Respawn has committed to focusing on regaining stability. We’ll update this story
